Sharon Lin is the founder of BitxBit Camp, a non-profit computer science summer program for middle school girls, and organized a partnership with NCWIT AspireIT, Intel, Microsoft, and Sphero. She is passionate about improving opportunities in tech for minorities and women.

Sharon is also a She++ #include Fellow and a CE Week 10Under20. She is a Google Science Fair Finalist and MIT THINK Scholar for her research into thermoelectricity, as well as an ISEF Regionals Grand Award Winner for her work in applied mathematics and mechanical engineering. She was also a finalist and winner in the United Nations Unite for Humanity competition, Microsoft We Hack Too, and has spoken on behalf of interfaith youth for Youth Speak Out, Voice of America, and the Huffington Post.

Sharon is the Executive Director of StuyHacks, and serves on the Executive Board as a leader for ProjectCSGIRLS, STEM Premier, and MIT Launch.

Sharon was recognized by the White House as a Champion of Change for her work in developing computer science programs for marginalized girls.
