Campbell Erickson

Campbell Erickson, 20, is a young social entrepreneur, futurist, and photographer from Austin, Texas.


He is the cofounder of 'PurchaseMate', which received the 'most impactful company' at the MIT Launch Incubator program. He recently founded Project Zilkr, an online platform 'to create an international community for young, open-source entrepreneurship.’ And his work as an international photographer has led him to create a photography project called A Youth Mind, which explores the world through the eyes of young people using disposable cameras, operating its first initiatives in South Sudan and Germany.


Campbell is also an avid traveler. He was the first person under the age of 17 (at the time) to be invited to the Kenyan Global Youth Peace Summit, as well as one of 30 Global Teen Leaders from around the world.


As of now, he is Studying Social Studies with a focus on climate change policy and adaptation, working with Integrity Initiatives International to create networks of young activists and to advocate for the International Anti-Corruption Court, helping out at New Leaf Agriculture a few days a week in order to learn about sustainable farming, organizing with the Fossil Fuel Divest Harvard campaign, facilitating a weekly dinner with the Franklin Fellowship, and leading Harvard students on trips into nature with the Outing Club.
