Akriti Dhasmana

Akriti Dhasmana is a student from India with a keen interest in technology and applied sciences. In the future, she hopes to forge a career for herself as a young innovator.

Recently, Akriti developed an eco-friendly device which provides vendors with a cool storage space for fruits and vegetables. Her project won the gold medal in the regional Indian Science and Engineering Fair, as well as an honorable mention in the national fair. Additionally, Akriti has won third place in the Indian Science and Engineering Fair, the Asia Pacific Conference For Young Scientists, the NASA Space Settlement Design Contest, and the International Science Environment Project Olympiad.

In 2016, Akriti was accepted to the Yale Young Global Scholars Program, where she was a part of the 15 day scholars program for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
